Lair Of The Graboid

Burt (The guy with all the guns), Kevin Bacon, and that one lady were all trapped in the little nothing desert town because the only road in or out of the town was closed due to a rock avalanche.  I think the lady was some sort of earthquake scientist and she thought the rocks fell because of some earthquake.  She was very wrong.  There was some annoying punk kid who bothered the general store owner.  He was playing basketball too close to the store or something.

Anyways, Kevin Bacon, his boss, and that seismologist lady were out in the desert studying the shaking ground and they almost got eaten by a giant desert worm that had little snake tongues.  They were kind of excited because they just discovered a new species, but they were also terrified because they almost died.  They named the giant worms "Graboids".  Turns out the avalanche was caused by the Graboids.  They ran to and jumped on to some giant rocks.  They were safe from the Graboid as long as they were on the rocks because the Graboid was capable of tunneling through sand and dirt, but not rocks.  The group used long sticks as pole vaulting poles and jumped from rock to rock until they got back to their truck.  

Once in their truck they drove back to town to tell everyone about their discovery.  Burt went back to his house (military compound) and brought back some explosives.  They strapped the explosives to a remote control toy truck and drove it around in the desert until the Graboid ate the truck and the explosives.  Once inside the Graboid, they set off the explosive and the Graboid was blown up.

There was plenty more to the movie, and they even made more movies to go into the Tremors series, but that is basically the story.  Well, that is what inspired this painting.  I hope you enjoy it!

Google Chrome Touchpad Scroll Not Working SOLUTION

I use and love Google Chrome . It is my favorite web browser and my default program for web browsing.  Unfortunately, I’ve had some trouble with it recently, and it has caused me such frustration that I considered switching to an alternative such as Mozilla Firefox .  I think I have found the solution to the problem, though! Description of the Problem I primarily use Chrome on my laptop, and I have become accustomed to using the tracking pad’s touchpad gestures. I use two fingers at once to scroll down pages.  I sometimes use other people’s laptops which don’t offer that gesture, and I quickly realize how much I like that feature.  On my own laptop, in Chrome specifically, I will sometimes lose the ability to two-finger scroll. I will be on a page, I will have two finger scrolled some ways down the page, and then suddenly it will stop working.
