What Does Soy Milk Taste Like?

I have only ever tried Silk brand soymilk. I don't know why, but I've never seen a different brand of soy milk offered in any grocery store I've ever shopped in. I would be highly interested in trying a different brand to see if there's a difference.

So my experience with soy milk and its taste is entirely based on the Silk brand version.

I think soy milk tastes like marshmallows. That might sound weird or not really tasty, but I mean it in a good way. Soy milk is somewhat sweet. Soy milk is super creamy. It is like a very smooth water/milk.

I used to drink dairy milk, cow's milk, and I loved it completely. I never questioned whether I should try something else in its place. I did end up trying soy milk, just to see what it was like, and I was totally hooked right from the start. It is so much better than conventional milk.

At first I just drank soy milk in addition to dairy milk, but I slowly phased out cow's milk and only used soy milk. Then after some time of not having dairy milk, I decided to try it again. It now tastes sour and gross to me.

Does Soy Milk Taste Good?

I think soy milk tastes very good. I think it is delicious. I drink soy milk plain by the glassful. I use soy milk as a creamer for my coffee sometimes. I use it in cooking, like when I am making boxed mac and cheese and it calls for milk.

I've tried other plant based milks like almond milk and coconut milk, and I think they are terrible. They are either flavorless or bitter. They just taste bad. If I were to decide to drink those beverages for health reasons, I would be struggling to drink them. But with soy milk, it is genuinely my preference. I'd rather drink soy milk than other milks.

Can You Eat Cereal With Soy Milk?

One of my biggest concerns with switching from dairy milk to soy milk was whether it would go well with cereal. I honestly use soy milk mostly for eating cereal. I eat cereal for breakfast several times per week, and I can tell you that soymilk goes very well with cereal.

I eat cheerios with honey drizzled on the top, and soy milk works with that. I think if you were to give cereal with soy milk a try you would like it. Cereal tastes good with soy milk.
